"The
truth will set you free. Free to be yourself, to know that you are
a unique person, make your own mistakes, to see the positive and
to recognize a compliment, jump up and down when you see a face
in the clouds 'but by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace
to me has not been ineffective.' (1 Corinthians 15:10); Free to
experience life, to go out without being afraid, introduce yourself
to the old woman who lives next door and ask her just how she gets
that beehive hairdo 'For he will hardly dwell on the shortness of
his life, because God lets him busy himself with the joy of his
heart.' (Ecclesiastes 5:19); Free to speak your mind, to effect
the world you live in, lead a demonstration on why you feel that
sheep should become a household pet 'From the fruit of his words
a man has his fill of good things, and the work of his hands comes
back to reward him' (Proverbs 12:14); Free to have hope, to keep
faith when times are bad and have trust in the Lord, when you fall
in a mud puddle--don't worry about how dirty you've gotten, make
mudpies 'The favors of the Lord are not exhausted, his mercies are
not upset; They are renewed each morning, so great is His faithfulness.
My portion is the Lord, says my soul; therefore will I hope in Him.';
Free to heal your wounds, to know peace of mind, keep a journal
and write your deepest thoughts to God, sit under a tree and meditate
'A joyful heart is the health of the body, but a depressed spirit
dries up the bones.' (Proverbs 17:22); Free to forgive others, to
love your enemies, when your friend Bill hurts you, know that deep
within he doesn't really mean it 'But I say to you, love your enemies,
and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of
you heavenly Father.' (Matthew 5:44); Frees to give, to take joy
in hugging someone who needs it, give away your favorite striped
blanket to the needy person you may not see, but know is there 'The
kindly man will be blessed, for he gives his sustenance to the poor.'
(Proverbs 22:9); Free to love, to care deeply for those around you,
look at someone with your heart in your eyes and feel a soul reaching
out; 'Above all, let your love for one another be intense because
love covers a multitude of sins.' (1 Peter 4:8); Free to know the
greatest joy--happiness '"I have told you this that my joy
might be in you and your joy might be complete."' (John 15:11)."
"Jesus said... 'You will know the truth, and the truth will
set you free.'" John 8:31-32 NIV
